Legally Binding Agreement:
Thank you for choosing to book with Old Chandlery Apartments. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make a reservation you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Bookings:
Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when we have confirmed Your reservation and received full payment.
Payments:
We accept the following payments
Cash – (GBP)
Credit Cards/Debit Cards – Visa / Visa Debit / Mastercard
Cancellation and Insurance:
Once you have reserved your stay, our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. We reserve the right to charge you via your credit/debit card or by other means based on the following time scales:-
72 Hours or less notice or not checking-in on the first night of your stay – Cancellation charge equivalent to first day of your stay.
Over 72 Hours notice – Full refund.
If you fail to check in on the first day of your stay, without prior agreement, we reserve the right to cancel your stay and the full balance will become due.
For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
Non-availability:
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however, if this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival:
Check-in times are between 2.00pm – 9.00pm. We will endeavor to have your room prepared for your arrival by 2.00pm. If you require access to your room outside these times please call us and we shall be happy to discuss your requirements with you.
Departure:
Please vacate your accommodation by 11.00am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged.
A late check out fee may be charge for unauthorised late check outs.
Groups:
We Do Not accept all male/female groups.
We reserve the right to not accept a group reservation at our discretion. Please contact us prior to making a group booking to obtain approval.
Regrettably we do not accept stag or hen parties.
Smoking:
Old Chandlery Apartments is a strictly non smoking establishment.
We reserve the right to terminate immediately the stay of any guest found to be smoking in the Apartments without being liable for any refund or compensation. We also reserve the right to make an additional charge of one night stay for cleaning of the room and to charge for any damage caused.
Pets:
Regrettably we do not accept pets.
Keys:
On arrival you will be given a set of keys for your room(s). Lost keys should be reported to us immediately and we reserve the right to make a charge of £15 for replacement keys and locks.
In the event that your keys are not returned to us at the end of your stay we reserve the right to charge you the cost of replacing locks and new sets of keys.
Breakfast:
This will be provided in your room comprising of a continental breakfast.

Behaviour:
We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation (including and not restricted to) when you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to ourselves or other guests or cause any damage to our property.
Towels
Each adult guest will be provided with 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel in their room for use during their stay which will be replenished regularly. We reserve the right to charge £9.95 per bath towel and £7.95 per hand towel for any lost, missing or damaged towels. We may charge this cost to your credit/debit card.
Damages and Breakages:
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice and debit your debit/credit card for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £30.00 if you did not report this.
Additional Charges:
In the event that we are unable to obtain payment for any additional charges listed in these terms and conditions we reserve the right to pass on your information to a debt recovery agency to recover these charges and any additional costs incurred in collecting the debt.
Liability:
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Other than for death or personal injury our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and in no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control.
Data:
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.
We will occasionally use your data to advise you of special offers and promotions that we have available but this information will not be passed on to any other parties. If you do not wish us to use your data in this way please advise us.
